Book Clubs
Daytime This group meets to review both chosen selections and individual choices. Each year a month is devoted to poetry and one to a literary classic. 3rd Monday morning of the month at 10:00 am. (Zoom Only).
Evening Book choices are mostly contemporary fiction, some nonfiction, and at least one classic per year. Meetings include discussion and dessert. 4th Monday evening of the month at 6:30 pm.
Mystery Books Delving into mysteries is the goal of this group. Mystery and crime stories cover a broad range of time, place, puzzles, and authors. Each month’s crime or mystery may be either individual reader’s choice or a group selection. 2nd Thursday morning at 10:30 am. Contact:
Page Turners This daytime book group enjoys fiction and nonfiction. It’s an informal group that encourages everyone’s active participation. 3rd Wednesday morning of the month at 10:00 am
Bridge Groups The hostess makes up tables by calling groups members. A small donation is collected for the re-entry scholarship. 2nd and 4th Monday 12:30 -3:30 PM
FOOD
Gourmet For those who enjoy good company and good food, this is a group for you. On alternating months, singles and couples meet for a potluck with a theme or favorite foreign cuisine. 3rd Saturday evenings of Oct, Jan, March, May at 6:00 pm.
Lunch Bunch This flexible group lunches and socializes monthly at various North Coast restaurants. 4th Thursday at 11:45 am.
Too Tired to Cook Let’s dine out once a month for good conversation and a respite from cooking. Both singles and couples are welcome. TBD
Mah-jongg Every Friday at 1 PM.
Stitch in Time Members bring whatever stitching project they wish to work on—quilting, embroidery, or any other—to members’ homes. TBD
